ALTERNATIVE FUELS SPECIALIST

The Alternative Fuels Specialist is responsible for supporting the development of the product/service line and keeping it attractive and competitive in the individual markets.
In this role you will support Business and Product owners with development of products and services in the field of alternative fuels (LNG, CNG, H2, eFuels etc.) under consideration of the overall Eurowag mobility services portfolio such as e.g. Fuel, Toll, Telematics, Navigation, eMobility, Tax Refund and push implementation in international markets for diversified customer segments.
You will build the bridge between customers’ voice, technology, the Business Unit and/or external partners.

What will you do?

  • Analyze and evaluate trends within the alt. fuels industry utilizing your profound user, market and competition expertise
  • Run market and competition research, prepare statistics and internal and external information material
  • Responsibility for the development and launch of cross-sell products especially EW Telematics and GPS/Navigation
  • Prepare scenarios and act as consultant towards potential and existing EW customers and validate those scenarios with the EW sales teams in relevant markets
  • Conclude business cases for the selected scenarios and align those with all relevant stakeholders
  • Out of the analysis you develop prioritized product concepts and transfer them into new product and service functionalities
  • In collaboration with EW internal departments, markets as well as external business partners define business processes and requirements (User Stories) and coordinate, prioritize the implementation of these products through projects in time, quality and budget
  • Prioritisation of team backlog to streamline the execution of priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components
  • Support for EW Fuel Regulatory and Compliance for all alt. fuels related topics
  • Support 3 months TTM approach
  • Reporting

How do we imagine you?

  • Experience in similar position at least 2 years
  • Profound knowledge of alternative fuels industry and markets, automotive services, knowledge of sales and marketing
  • Understanding of transportation related legislatives and regulations
  • Experience and expertise in mobility and financial services
  • Experience in strategy development and implementation
  • Profound Product Owner Role expertise, proven track record
  • Strong skills in the field of agile development and process design
  • Fluent English mandatory, German or Czech an advantage
  • Open for business traveling (approx. 50%, EU wide)
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
